This video is by Tupac - Do For Love
This song is about how love can make a person do crazy things.
This video subverts from a conventional music video by being cartoon based instead of reality. This can help express the meanings of this song by using things that couldn't be gathered or shown by using reality to portray it.
The lyrics of the song are generic to R&B and Hip-Hop as they are about love between a man and a woman and how things happen and change the relationship the two people are having and cause problems.
This video is narrative based and shows what happens through the course of the 2 peoples relationship. There are scenes in this video where the women are dressed quite provocatively but this could either be the 'make gaze' or that just because its in LA most girls dress like that due to style fashion and or because it is hot.
The song symbolises an on and off relationship and and entices the audience with a series of scenarios that can be related with someone (possibly) in the audience making it a successful song as most R&B/Hip-hop music videos/songs aim to relate with their target audience.
